important info about this sunday night!! 8.20.08
because of the huge response we’ve had about this sunday nights 3rd birthday celebration and LIVE ALBUM RECORDING, we have some updated info for you!

we have had a lot of interest from the community and other churches who are planning to attend on sunday night and we don’t want our own church to miss out! we STRONGLY encourage you to arrive early!

if you have pre-ordered the EP, you are registered for priority seating! entry for priority seating is from 5.30 – 5.45 so you will need to arrive around 5.15 to check in! general admission starts at 5.45 and at that time, all priority seats will be released!

there is still time to pre-order and register for priority seating if you haven’t done so yet!

there will be snacks and drinks to purchase as well as some other fun things going on outside while you wait! also, childcare will be provided.

depending on the turn out, there is a chance we may be doing two services on the night. either way, we are SO excited and can’t wait to see you on sunday night!!!

please call 760 804 8524 or email us if you have any questions!

love,
ps jurgen and leanne

murder mystery 8.14.08
guest blogger: PS NATALIE!

kidz church team leaders had the special delight along with several special guests to attend our FIRST ever murder mystery night event ever! the ‘mystery manor’ (thanks jerry :) was the setting for an afternoon of murder and suspense. once you stepped foot at the large estate the old self was put aside as we all got into characters and embraced the theatrical event to its fullest.
the colourful event was a progression of meeting our new relatives, friends, lovers, a lawyer, police officer, psychiatrist and even the pool boy! as it soon became evident who the other party guests were friendships were formed, relationships were exposed, plots were unfolding and appetites were rising with the succulent dinner aromas.
after a sit down dinner and the will reading, the night intensified with the murder of our maid aka janelle! our guests looked and listened to the will reading with more drama broking out as news evidence came into the light. it was like a scene from the young and restless with yelling, man stealing and even a face slap! (jenny and scott REALLY got into character!!)
the evidence presentation from the officer (aka: me) gave everyone the final chance to run through clues and leads before making their accusations as to ‘who was the murderer’??
with a twisted plot and interwoven details the murder was exposed in the victims last will. the murderer was indeed the chauffer aka brad!
this was a night of fun for all, a night that will definitely be remembered for years to come!
