the ccc boys had a big night out last night playing LASER TAG!!! after lots of pizza, the war was on. a fierce rivalry broke out between the four teams...the detonate team, the hillcrest hammers, the subluxators and the twelve disciples.

after a few rounds of laser tag the twelve disciples started playing the jowling game...you loosen up all your face muscles and then fling your head around and make the most ridiculous faces.

girls, you should be glad you weren't there :)

a few months back pastor leanne, yvette, summer, rachel, jerry mctaggart and sue headed down to mexico along with nate and jaclyn to get a first hand look at catherines house...four orphanages in tijuana and ensenada. the kids were super stoked to be photographed (as you can tell!) and it was an amazing experience for us as well! it's life changing not only to see the kids lives in these orphanages but also the love and dedication of the workers who look after them so well!

...have kidz church every week with ps natalie while we have "big church" next door. games, jumping castles, ozzie the platapus...here's a look into the fun!

we had the del mar fire department over to our church to say thank you for their bravery and hard work in the devastating october fires in san diego. pastor natalie and our kids presented the cute thank you cards they made, along with the church donating a check for $10,000 to fire marshall dave ott and his crew.

Everyone hung out for lunch and carnival-like desserts with the fire crew after church.

The fire fighters supplied their brilliant red fire truck for all the kids to enjoy as well as their very own fire helmets!

The day concluded with the church staff getting into the fire truck fun. It was definitely a sight to see!
